Medicare alone has grown at 8x the rate of GDP or revenue (from 3% of tax receipts to now 24%)
Social Security has grown 2.3x the rate of GDP/tax receipts
In 1968, these two budget items were 15% of revenue
In 2025, they’re now 56%
